This months talk will be given by Dr Sarah Bate, Senior Lecturer in Psychology, Bournemouth University.
Sarah has an interest in disorders of face recognition particularly prosopagnosia (‘faceblindness’). Faceblindness is a relatively unknown condition that affects one in fifty people. Come along to find out what causes this fascinating condition and what it’s like to live in a world surrounded by strangers. This has been a popular topic in the media in recent months with articles in The Independent and The Daily Mail. You can find out more about her research here.
We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday! Doors will be open from 6.30pm for a 7.30pm start. As usual the boys of Cafe Boscanova will be looking after us with a wide selection of drinks and a small menu of meals and snacks available for you to purchase.
